RED OAK -- Northern Nash honored its top winter and spring sports athletes during a recent ceremony on the NNHS campus.
Also, the Knights’ season-best winners were announced, with Athlete of the Year Awards being presented to Dequavais Mann and Camille Branch.
Mann was a standout defensive back for the NN football squad, and he took part in the prestigious Shrine Bowl Football Game last December in South Carolina. He has signed with Duke University.
Branch, a Winston-Salem State volleyball signee, led by Lady Knights to team success on both the spike and basketball courts.
Soccer/volleyball star Claire Fleming won the Female Triple Crown Award, and Duke University baseball signee David Williams was the Male Triple Crown Award recipient.
