EARLON JEFFRIES PARKER
Earlon Jeffries Parker, age 73, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013.  Born in Nash County on February 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late John Jeffries and Stella Mullins Jeffries.  She was also preceded in death by her brother Robert Jeffries.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Paul Anderson Parker; sons, Christopher Parker and wife Amanda of Cape Coral FL, Chadwick Parker and wife Sherry, Colin Parker, and Jacob Parker and wife Melissa, all of Rocky Mount; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Tina Enroughty and husband Joe of Nashville and Barbara Ann Messer and husband Norman of Wilmington.

A service to remember Earlon was held April 15, 2013 at the Church on the Rise with Pastor Richard Gurganus and Pastor Glenn Hill officiating. Burial followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Elm City.
