MARY FRANCES RINGLAND CALLAHAN
ROCKY MOUNT - Mary Frances Ringland Callahan, 82, died Saturday, May 27, 2006. She was born December 17, 1923 in Lawrence, Massachussetts, daughter of the late James and Mary Callahan Ringland. Mrs. Callahan was also preceded in death by a brother, John Ringland and a sister, Theresa McKenna.

She is survived by her husband James E. Callahan, Jr.; daughters, Kathleen Jacobs and husband Steven of Commerce, MI, and Patricia Koenig and her husband Bill of Nashville; sons, James E. Callahan, III of Durham and William K. Callahan of Fayetteville; 8 grand children; brothers William Ringland of Salem, NH, and Joseph Ringland of Lawrence, MA; sister, Marguerite Burke of North Andover, MA.

Funeral Mass was at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Philip Tighe officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial park. Arrangements were by Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home, 1130 N. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount. Condolences may be sent to: condolence@wheelerwoodlief.com
