CHARLES “CHARLIE” RAY BARNES
NASHVILLE ––  Charles Ray Barnes, 66, passed away Friday November 23, 2012. He was born December 17, 1945 in Nash County. Charlie was the son of the late Charles Bennett and Samantha Joyner Barnes. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Barnes, two brothers, Eldridge and Horace Barnes, one sister, Doris Tuttle.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Emily Joyner Barnes, one son, Shane Barnes, one brother, Jack Barnes, two sisters, Shelby Boone and Margaret Martin and two grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, November 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
