Michael Lawrence Whitman, 18, passed away Wednesday October 17, 2012. He was born June 11, 1994 in Pitt County. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, David and Anna Whitman and aunt Nicole Taylor.
He is survived by his parents Danny and Patricia Whitman, brother Matthew Whitman, sister Rachel Vaughan and brother-in-law Chris, grandparents Doug and Patsy Taylor, and many additional family and friends.
A funeral service was held Monday October 22, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Coggin officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers an account has been set up in Michael’s honor at Providence Bank in Rocky Mount to help assist with expenses.
