THOMAS “RED” GUY PRIDGEN, SR.
ROCKY MOUNT – Thomas “Red” Guy Pridgen, Sr. age 93, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012. He was born December 24, 1918, son of Jesse Jones Pridgen and Mary Moore Pridgen.  “Red” was preceded in death by his son Thomas Guy Pridgen, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 70 plus years, Thelma Lamm Pridgen; two daughters, Paulette Pridgen, Mary Leigh Wood and husband Tommy; one son, Anthony Pridgen of Rocky Mount; brothers Clyde Pridgen of Rocky Mount and Bunyon Pridgen of Winterville; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Wheeler Woodlief Funeral Home. Pastor Robin Fisher officiated.  Committal followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
