ROCKY MOUNT - Betty Stancil Sherrod, 68, died on Saturday, January 28, 2012. She was born August 15, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Ruby Lee Stancil and Raymond Stancil.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Lee Sherrod; sons, Robert Holland and wife Tina of Nashville, Raymond Holland and wife Lisa of Norlina and stepson, Scotty Sherrod of Thomasville; brother Timmy Stancil and his wife Carlotta of TN; sister Ruby Ray Coleman of Wilson; and two grandsons.
Funeral was held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Nashville with the Rev. Bill Donovan and Rev. Tony Shirley officiating. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery
