RED OAK - Donnie Bass, Jr., age 50, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1976 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Louis Bass and step-father, John Albert Bunn.
Donnie is survived by his wife of 16 years, Wendy Turner Bass; daughters, Samantha Jane Bass and Aaralyn Renae Bass; mother, Kristy Bunn of Spring Hope; siblings, Mark Bunn (Pam) of Wilson and Sara Coley (Ernie) of Jefferson; along with many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
The family will host a Remembrance Service at 3 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Avalon Baptist Church, 3225 Old Battleboro Road, Rocky Mount. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Avalon Baptist Church. |
