ROCKY MOUNT - Clifton Reginald "Reggie" Wester, age 85, passed away on March 26, 2026. Born in Edgecombe County on April 2, 1940, he was the son of the late Thomas Clifton "Cliff" Wester and Ossie Currin Wester. He was also preceded in death by his son, Randall "Blake" Wester; and his brother, Alfred Lane "Al" Wester, Sr.

Reggie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jane Webb Wester of Rocky Mount; his children, D. Brent Wester (Leighann) of Spring Hope, Robin Wester Powell (Steve) of Rocky Mount, and Regina Wester Johnson (J. R.) of Rocky Mount; his stepson, Robert "Boot" Lewis, Jr. (Toni) of Tarboro; 12 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 8 step great-grandchildren; his sisters-in law, Sandra Greene Wester, Betty Twiddy, Becky Tetterton, and Carol Smith; his brothers-in-law, Bill Webb, Ronnie Webb, Danny Webb, Randy Walston, and Ricky Walston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held March 30, 2026 with Sammy Anderson officiating. Burial was at Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
