JANUARY 30
The Nash County Arts Council will host its annual Denim and Diamonds Gala fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 30, from 6-9 p.m. This year's theme is "Boots and Bling," and the evening will include entertainment by Raleigh's Boots and Bangs 90's Country Tribute Band, catering by Nashville Exchange, and a silent auction. Costs are $43 per individual or $80 per couple ($38 / $70 Nash Arts members). Meal and entertainment are included in ticket costs. Nashville Parks and Recreation will host a beginner Sourdough Sandwich Loaf & Starter Class on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2025. Participants will learn the basics of making sourdough, including maintaining a starter and preparing a sandwich loaf.
