JANUARY 30
The Nash County Arts Council will host its annual Denim and Diamonds Gala fundraiser on Friday, Jan. 30, from 6-9 p.m. This year's theme is "Boots and Bling," and the evening will include entertainment by Raleigh's Boots and Bangs 90's Country Tribute Band, catering by Nashville Exchange, and a silent auction. Costs are $43 per individual or $80 per couple ($38 / $70 Nash Arts members). Meal and entertainment are included in ticket costs. FEBRUARY 3
Nashville Parks and Recreation will host a beginner Sourdough Sandwich Loaf & Starter Class on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2025. Participants will learn the basics of making sourdough, including maintaining a starter and preparing a sandwich loaf. Each participant will receive a sourdough starter and a loaf ready to bake at home. Fees: Nashville residents ($49); Nonresidents ($69); Youth (12 years & under; must attend with an adult) ($39.) FEBRUARY 4
Whip up a one-of-a-kind Valentine masterpiece for yourself or a lucky someone at Harold D. Cooley Library on Feb. 4 from 11 a.m. - 12 noon. Supplies are provided. To register call 252-459-2106. The library is located at 114 W. Church St., Nashville.

FEBRUARY 5
Tar River Republican Women will host their regular monthly club meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5th at 6 p.m. at Nashville Exchange restaurant 229 W. Washington Street, Nashville. The Nashville Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Brunswick Stew Sale on Feb. 6, 2026 from 12 noon - 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 per quart. To order tickets, call 252-459-4050.

The Town of Nashville will host a Historic Homes Town Hall discussion on Feb. 9, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Harold D. Cooley Library Town Council Chambers, 114 W. Church St., Nashville.

Nashville Parks and Recreation will host Mini, Me & Tea on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026 from 4-5 p.m. The event offers a sweet Valentine's-themed tea party featuring crafts, photo opportunities, snacks, and tea. This program is designed for children 10 years and under, and children must attend with an adult. Fees: Nashville residents ($10); Nonresidents ($15) (Registration includes 1 child and 1 adult). Nashville Parks and Recreation will host a Valentine's Craft Night (felting class) on Friday, Feb. 13 from 6-8 p.m. Grab your favorite gals and enjoy a creative night learning needle felting techniques using locally sourced alpaca fiber. Nashville Parks and Recreation will host Fencing Classes (8-Week Session) on Mondays from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 23 through April 27, 2026. This beginner-friendly class introduces fencing fundamentals, including footwork, blade skills, and safety, while building confidence and focus. Open to youth and adults ages 12 and up. Nashville Parks and Recreation will host Brick Builders - Homeschool STEAM Program on Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Feb. 26 through April 2, 2026. Designed for ages 7-11, this homeschool STEAM program uses LEGO Education curriculum to explore engineering, creativity, and storytelling. Fees: Nashville residents ($20); Nonresidents ($30).
