ROBERT "BOB" FRANK WALKER

Robert "Bob" Frank Walker, 87, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025. He was born March 20, 1938 in New York City, NY, to the late John Walker and Frances Jones Walker Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Aki Tezuka; two brothers, Richard "Dick" Walker of Atlanta, Texas and George Walker of Brandon, Florida.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Gail Walker; son, Michael D. Walker of Bossier City, LA.; step-son, Dean Edwards of Bailey; daughter, Carol Espinosa (Don) of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, John A. Walker (Sofie) of Colorado Springs, CO; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one great-great- grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service will be held, Friday, January 16, 2026 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Jami B. Noble officiating at Sandy Cross Methodist Church in Nashville. Visitation with family and friends will be one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sandy Cross Methodist Church or Nash Hospice Palliative Care UNC Health.
