NASHVILLE - Michael Lee Hogshire, age 76, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. Born in Edgecombe County on September 26, 1949, he was the son of the late William Judson Hogshire, Sr. and Margaret Estelle Burrage Hogshire.
Michael is survived by his brothers, William Judson Hogshire Jr. (Teresa) and John Thomas Hogshire (Gail); his sister, Beverly Hogshire Broad (Douglas); his nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11a.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rocky Mount with Pastor Alice Johnson-Curl officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pineview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at Trinity Lutheran Church. |
