Children's Christmas Celebration and Bike Parade is Dec. 6th. A Meet & Greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus for both children and pets is planned Saturday, Dec. 6 at Touch of the Father's Love, 5193 Momeyer Way. Kids are invited from 9 to 11 a.m. to enjoy free hot cocoa, face painting and candy while visiting with Santa; well-behaved pets are invited from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will receive treats.

The Nash County Arts Council will host its 24th annual "A Christmas Carol," based on the classic Charles Dickens novella. This year's traditional play is directed by Dana Pippen with evening performances on Thursday, Dec. 4, Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m., closing with a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the door. Town of Nashville's Santa Cruise Thru is Dec. 19th from 2-5 p.m. Santa will cruise around downtown Nashville with the Nashville Fire and Police Departments and making stops for photo ops!
