NASH CENTRAL SENIOR SWIM SUPERSTAR LANCE NORRIS
Norris Leads Way For Central

ROCKY MOUNT -- Perhaps the most anticlimactic, suspenseless act of the 2021-22 Big East Conference swim season came when it was time to announce the Boys Most Outstanding Swimmer as part of last Thursday's league championships at the Harrison Family YMCA.
The pick was in, and it surprised absolutely nobody as Nash Central's Lance Norris earned the prestigious award.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE. Southern Nash's Landen Baker scores inside for the Firebirds during Tuesday's road basketball victory against the Bunn Wildcats.
SN MAKES IT QUICK

BUNN -- Few strategies are available to teams looking to upset the high-powered Southern Nash Firebirds during the 2021-22 boys basketball season.

BUNN STAR KAITYLN ADAMS (WITH BALL)
Bunn Pulls Away

BUNN -- Bunn put together one of its finest all-around performances of the season Tuesday -- and that wasn't good news for upset-minded Southern Nash.
The Ladycats, needing a victory to stay tied for third place in the Big East in the loss column, pulled away with a strong second quarter and never looked back en route to defeating Southern Nash by a 61-41 margin in a league girls basketball matchup at the Bunn Dome.
