Nash County Animal Friends' Notebook

If you "rescue" or save a pet, you must be prepared to take 100% percent responsibility for it. You cannot count on finding a rescue to take it off of your hands or an adopter. Of course, you can advertise on places such as Craigslist. We have seen the results of that. Animals that are used for bait, to train fighting dogs. Animals that are abused. Animals that are used for feed, especially the babies for snakes.

Luke's Word for the Week

We all approach the Bible with a goal in mind. Hopefully, for each one of us, it's for the goal of living like Jesus on earth because that's the Father's heart and the Spirit's purpose.
However, there are other goals and dispositions we have when approaching the Bible. Think about it for a minute...sometimes the Bible is approached as being a book of what not to do. When we take this approach we have the 10 commandments in mind - which is a good thing.
