World Series hero plays on Jesus' team

Major League Baseball is in full swing. As a teenager, my summer hero was Bobby Richardson. If you are one of my younger readers, you've probably never heard of him.

I'm not sure where you enjoy spending your vacation time. Lot's of people love the beach! I've always loved the beach and since I was a small boy, I can recall enjoying Myrtle Beach. I have very fond memories of family vacations at The Dayton House Resorts, although it was not called a resort when I was a young boy.
On of my fondest memories from my time at the beach was playing in the Atlantic Ocean, jumping waves, and collecting sea shells.

Trade and Immigration wars threaten farmers

Driving through North Carolina's countryside this time of year is both good for the soul and a reminder of the importance agriculture plays in our state. The NC State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences reports that agriculture adds $83.7 billion to our state's $538 billion gross domestic product, accounting for 16.9 percent of all jobs.
