Board agrees to sell land to CVS
Nashville’s Board quickly approved the sale of property to CVS Pharmacy during its regular meeting Tuesday night.
A public hearing was held on the sale last Wednesday. During the hearing, town attorney Liz Fairman told board members that the proper steps had been followed to sell the piece of land. “We have followed all the steps necessary for the town to do a privately negotiated sale,” Fairman said. More ...

The NASH celebrated volunteers at its second annual Volunteer Appreciation Social on Friday, August 17. Three people were awarded for going above and beyond the call of duty though everyone in attendance was applauded for giving their time and energy to various programs at The NASH. Pictured right, Sam and Barbara Mayo, say a few words after being named Volunteers of the Year for home delivered meals. Hiking is for the dogs
To celebrate Labor Day this year, my husband and I cleaned our house and did lots of yard work. On Sunday, we took our dogs to Medoc Mountain State Park and went on a one-mile hiking adventure. I must admit, the idea was all mine and though I had a good time, hiking is not my cup of tea. But, as I told my husband, we need to find dog friendly things to do every now and then so off we went. We even bought our dogs little backpacks so they could carry water for everyone.  More ...
