Nashville’s Police Department will again host a National Night Out event at Stoney Creek Environmental Park. The event is slated for Tuesday, August 5 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. National Night Out is held to strengthen policy-community partnerships and also to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.
More than 165 people attended the annual Nash County Republican Convention held on Thursday, March 6, making this event the best attended in the recorded history of the group. Ninety-five were registered delegates, with the remainder including guests and candidates. The event was held at the Business Center of Nash Community College and included a dinner provided by the Moymeyer Ruritan Club. Cost of the event was $20 per ticket.
