JAMES WHITEHEAD
HOLLISTER – James William Whitehead Jr., 92, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 at the Pine Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Doris E. Lindsey officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Adgelena Whitehead of the home; one daughter, Bernadine Richardson of Hollister; five sons, Linwood Richardson of Hollister, Willie M. Richardson of Hampton, Va., Ricardo Whitehead of Alpharretta, Ga., James C. Whitehead of Carrboro and Vernon C. Whitehead of Carrollton; two sisters, Viola Tucker of Portsmouth, Va., and Mildred Hall of Wheaton, Md.; two brothers, Kenneth Whitehead of Waldorf, Md., and Walter Whitehead of Washington, D.C.; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Richardson Funeral Home, Nashville.
