Margaret Jane Tharrington, age 66, of Rocky Mount, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. Born in Sampson County on February 4, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Henry Ivan Tharrington, Sr. and Estelle Crumpler Tharrington. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Stewart Tharrington.

She is survived by her brother, H. I. Tharrington of Rocky Mount.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 231 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount, with Father Matt Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
