Burcha Goff Augst, age 83, of Rocky Mount, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015. She was born January 30, 1932 to the late William David Goff and Annie Dora Pitt Goff. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Louis Augst, Jr; her son, Frederick "Rick" Louis Augst, III; sisters, Peggy G. Ferguson, Hazel G. Taylor and Jean G. Walston; and brothers, William F. Goff and David C. Goff.
She is survived by her daughters, Pattye A. Ferrell (Brian) of Nashville and Chris Augst of the home; two grandchildren,; four great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Barbara Goff.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Endtime Harvest Ministries, 2016 Rosewood Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27801, or to the charity of one's choice. .
Funeral services were held Monday, August 31, 2015 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home with Bishop Vincent Lowery and Rev. Steve Edmondson officiating. Burial will followed at Pineview Cemetery. |
