LONNIE PERRY SHEARIN

Lonnie Perry Shearin, 76, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born in Nash County, in the community of Essex on May 7, 1938 and was the youngest child of Jasper Luscious and Betty Will Harper Shearin. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Mary Gladys Shearin and Lois Shearin Joyner and brothers in law Oliver Dawes Joyner, Chester Carpenter and W.J. Minchew.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlotte Minchew Shearin; his sons, Robert Earl and wife Jennie, Lonnie Ray and his long time companion Mary Adams and Ronald Glenn Shearin; six grandchildren; brother, John Shearin and wife Dale; sisters-in-law, Jo Ann Minchew Carpenter and Genni Minchew,

A funeral service was held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Nashville Church of God with the Brother Mark Bateman, Sister Sherill Bateman and Brother Bruce Brumfield officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations in Lonnie's name to Nashville Church of God, 606 Clark Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
