HERMAN “DALLAS” CANNON, SR.

Herman “Dallas” Cannon, Sr., 82, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014. Dallas was born July 25, 1932 to the late William Blaney and Winnie May Cannon.
Dallas was preceded in death by his parents; his son Michael; brothers, W.B. and Wilbur; sisters, Agnes, Mildred, and Sybil. 
He is survived by his wife  of 25 years, Ilene Reason Cannon; brothers, Virgil, Edward, Curtis, Jimmy, and Douglas; sisters, Nancy Ruth, Margaret, Thelma, and Carolyn; his children, Herman Jr. (Sherry), Patricia (David), Charles, Kenneth (Hilda), Valiery (Robert); beloved step-sons, Donnie, Ricky, and Kevin Reason; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
A funeral   service will be held Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 2  p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Moss officiating. Burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice @  3124 Zebulon Rd, Rocky Mt, NC 27804.
