ERNEST DEAN BONTRAGER
Elm City - Ernest Dean Bontrager, “Ernie” was born January 31, 1947 and passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 after an extended illness. 

He is survived by his wife, Zandra Lindsey Bontrager of 39 years of the home; son Frederick and wife Melissa, three grandchildren; father Abraham and the late Mary Ellen Bontrager of Shipshewana, IN; sisters, Susie Ellen Hostetler, Mary Etta Miller of Shipshewana, IN, Anna Marie Mast of LaGrange, IN, Elsie Mae Stevens of Topeka, IN; brothers, Freeman Bontrager of LaGrange, IN, Menno Bontrager of Brooklyn, MI, and Harley Bontrager of Goshen, IN;  also numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Friday, April 22, 2011 at Cornerstone Funeral Home from 7:00-8:30 pm in Nashville. Funeral service was at 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2011in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Woody Jones officiating.  Burial followed the service at Forest Hill Cemetery.
