Spring Hope - Mr. Dalton Russell Leonard, age 57 died Friday January 14, 2011 in the Nash General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Russell C Leonard and mother, Catherine Leonard; sister, Linda Faye Carney.
He is survived by his wife, Joan Baker Leonard of the home; daughter, Shannon R. Leonard of Spring Hope; grandsons, Trey Harden of Spring Hope and Joshua Harden of Spring Hope; brothers, Tim Leonard and wife Phyllis of Rocky Mount, Jerry Leonard and wife Kim of Nashville, Destry Leonard of Nashville; sisters, Bonnie Leonard of Momeyer, Connie Averette of Momeyer, Diane Bailey of Wilson; in-laws, Curtis and Rochelle Baker of Spring Hope; also survived by beloved nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial services were 7 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Johnson’s Chapel of Nashville. The family received friends following the services Monday night.
