Sin is who we are and not what we do (relevance: 66.7%, date: Nov 12, 2025)
I once heard a story about a little boy who prayed during Sunday School to ask Jesus to come and live in his heart. When he saw his mother, he proudly told her, "Mama, I asked Jesus to come and live in my heart today and take my skin away".
His mother chuckled but later realized that her young child was serious. Several days later, he confided his concern to her. "I've been waiting, Mama, and I still have my skin."

Veterans Day is for the living, but it's okay to remember the dead (relevance: 66.7%, date: Nov 12, 2025)
A 100-year-old British World War II veteran was interviewed on the BBC and told the reporter that the sacrifice his friends made and the lives of his other comrades at risk was not worth it. It was one of the saddest stories I've read this year.
"My message is, I can see in my mind's eye, rows and rows of white stones, of all the hundreds of my friends and everybody else, that gave their lives - for what?" Alex Penstone said. "The country of today... No, I'm sorry, the sacrifice wasn't worth the result that it is now."

SPRING HOPE- The town's library, on track to move from one location to another on the grounds of the Spaulding Family Resource Center, is attracting attention for being one of the most-visited branches of Braswell Memorial Library in Nash County.
Director of Library Services Melissa Corso spoke to town commissioners at Monday's Nov. 10 meeting, relating that Spring Hope's Library, along with Middlesex, has the "highest door count" since its move from the Depot several years ago.
