NC BOUNCES BACK

ROCKY MOUNT -- With an opportunity to pull out a victory, the Nash Central Bulldogs simply couldn't come up with enough defensive stops to hold off a last Southern Nash threat during the clubs' first boys basketball meeting of the season two weeks ago.
That wasn't an issue in last Friday's rematch as the Bulldogs were stern on the defensive end beginning in the second period -- and never relented.
