Betty W. Price, 71, passed away, Monday December 20, 2010. She was born May 31, 1939 in Nash County. Betty was the daughter of the late Mangrum and Lois Blackman Watkins. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Arthur Harrell.

She is survived by one son, Danny Reeves Smith and wife Julie of Seagroves, NC, three daughters, Sharon Griffin and husband Glen of Rocky Mount, Robin Baker and husband Garry of Nashville, Kathy Harrell of Rocky Mount, two sisters, Joyce Jones of Rocky Mount and Jewel Thomas of Goldsboro, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Medlin officiating.
