NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Edgar B. “Doc” Cooper, 90, who died Nov. 16, 2010, were Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Nashville. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Carl Wardrett officiating.

Survivors include his daughters, Gloria James of Durham, Claudean Cooper of Mebane, Thelma Carmon of Greenville, Earnestine McCoy of Lanham, Md.; son, Edgar Cooper of Creedmoor; sisters, Nicie Reese of Washington D.C.; brother, Lucian “Pell” Cooper of Newwark N.J.; eleven grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday Nov. 21 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home chapel in Nashville.
