NASHVILLE - Bertha Elizabeth Griffin Dunn, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Dunn.

She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Jafari and husband Hassan of Raleigh, Phylis D. Logan of Rocky Mount; son, Robert Earl Dunn and wife Leigh of Spring Hope; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one great great grandchild.

The family received friends from 7 to 9 pm Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Johnson Chapel of Nashville. Funeral services were held 3 pm Friday, November 12, 2010 at Johnson Chapel of Nashville. Burial followed at Forest Hills Cemetery in Nashville.
