ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. Walter Bunyon Boswell, age 83 passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born March 17, 1927 in Wilson County.

He is survived by his  wife of 64 years, Marie Holland Boswell of the home; one son, Walter Bobby Boswell and wife Marie Elena of Florence, SC; two daughters, Barbara Carter and husband Milton of Halifax NC and Doris Holder and Husband Larry of Rocky Mount; 8 grandchildren ; 1 foster granddaughter; 9 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-granddaughter.

A funeral Mass was held Tuesday October 26, 2010 at 2 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help of Rocky Mount. The burial followed at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

A Rosary service was held Monday night at 6:30 pm at Johnson Funerals and Cremations, 661 English Road with the family receiving friends immediate following Rosary service.
