ROCKY MOUNT - Ms. Jacklon Carter, 47, of Rocky Mount died on September 7, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.

A visitation for Ms. Carter was held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home.  Apostle-Prophet Ernestine Brinkley officiated and Apostle Clarence Dandy will be eulogizing.  The interment took place immediately following the service in the Oakland Cemetery on S. Brooklyn Boulevard in Nashville.
