Mrs. Aileen Griffin Parker, age 76, of Rocky Mount, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home.

Born August 4, 1934 in Nash County, she was the daughter of the late Willis Allen and Evelyn Carmichael Griffin.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband, Albert Bizzell Parker; a daughter, Cindy Parker Oakley and her husband, Tim, of Battleboro; a son, Bruce Anthony Parker and his wife, Dianne, of Columbia, SC; two brothers, George Wayne Griffin and his wife, Peggy, of Rocky Mount,  and Willis Allen Griffin and his wife, Brenda of Rocky Mount; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 in the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Jody Wright will officiate. Burial will be at Pineview Cemetery.

The family received friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home.
