Edward K. Morris, 82, passed away, Saturday, August 7, 2010. He was born August 26, 1927 to the late Robert Morris and Fannie Minchew of Nash County. Dick was preceded in death by a sister Rachel Pittman.

He leaves to cherish his memory, to his loving wife of 57 years Dorothy Jenkins Morris, a son William “Dickie” Morris and wife Kathy of Nashville, sister Geraldine Reynolds and husband Ronald of Eden NC, and three grandchildren.

Visitation was Sunday August 8, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home.  Graveside service was Monday August 9, 2010 at Forest Hill Cemetery at 11AM with Rev. Jason Gault officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made the Nashville Baptist Church.
