James "Boot" Brake, 50, died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Philadelphia Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Stample officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollingsworth family cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Shanelle Williams of Nashville; four sisters, Sarah Richardson of Rocky Mount; Linda Harrison of Castalia, and Rosa Richardson and Sandra Ellis, both of Nashville; two brothers, Jimmy Brake of Nashville and Earl Ray Brake of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Wake services will be held at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, Dec. 16, from 7-8 p.m.
