Kemp Cooper Leonard, 52, passed away, Monday, July 19, 2010. He was born June 22, 1958 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his father, E. Lawrence Leonard.

He is survived his mother, Louise Griffin Leonard Harper and husband Linwood; former wife, Julia Lynn Leonard; one son, Andrew “Andy” Grey Leonard, one daughter, Maggie Nicole “Nikki” Leonard; one grandson; one brother, David Leonard and wife Reñee; one sister, Debbie Leonard Marks and husband E.K.; two stepbrothers and four stepsisters, two nephews and two nieces.

Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Boyd officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.
