Carson Dale Thorne, 60, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010. He was born January 6, 1950.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Thorne; three sons, Perry Thorne of Greenville, Derek Thorne and wife Shelley of Cary, David Thorne and wife Jennifer of Nashville; four grandchildren; brother Tim Thorne and wife Linda of Spring Hope.

A funeral service was held Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2 p.m., with visitation prior from 12:30 to 2 p.m., in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Don Causey and Rev. Ron Hawley officiating.
