Linda “Becky” Hendrix Pridgen, 66, passed away Monday, July 5, 2010. She was born September 16, 1943 in Hartsville, SC. Linda was the daughter of the late Henry Elijah and Argent Dale Hopkins Hendrix. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 47 years, William “Bill” Clyde Pridgen.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lynn Wells and husband Richard; two sons, Bill Pridgen and wife Robbin and Charles Pridgen and wife Sue all of Rocky Mount; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday July 7, 2010 in the Chapel of Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road with Pastor Autry Pridgen officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
