James Leslie Brewer, Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010. He was born October 4, 1939 in Wilson County, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leslie Brewer, Sr. and Flonnie Williams Brewer.

James is survived by his son, James Leslie Brewer, III and wife Jessica of Rocky Mount, his daughter, Krista B. Wilson and husband A.D., Jr. of Nashville; his sister, Sue Brewer Joyner and husband Tommy of Rocky Mount; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held 7 pm Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations in the Chapel on Sunset Avenue with Pastor Jack Givens officiating.
