Mildred Virginia Hardison Dudley, 90, of Rocky Mount,  died on Monday, June 21, 2010.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper Earl Dudley; parents, Jacob Hardison and Lala Cunningham Hardison; sisters, Marie Craft, Addie Gray, Mytle Woodard, Evelyn Parisher; and brother, Ray Hardison.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Dudley; son, David Dudley and wife Laura; one grandson; one granddaughter; sisters, Grace Shelton, Bessie Fields and Doris Craft; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will follow the service. A graveside service will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery in Snow Hill, NC.
