Denise Russell Rockwood, 42, passed away, Wednesday, June 9, 2010. She was born August 5, 1967 in Erie County, NY.   She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Frederick Maedl and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Josephine Russell.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Anita Burek and partner James Earl Taylor of Red Oak, her father, Charles Russell and wife Margaret of Eden, NY, maternal grandmother, Gertrude Maedl of Tonawanda, NY, two daughters, Clarissa Rockwood of Rocky Mount, Jacqueline Russell and Miguel Gomez of Stroudsburg, PA, five brothers, David Russell and partner Paul Lewis of Sherkston Ontario, Canada, James McCoy of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Keith McCoy and wife Diane of Lancaster, NY, Randy McCoy and wife René of Hamburg, NY, Charles Russell Jr. and wife Leslie of Omaha, NE, one sister, Carrie Snow of Irving, NY, many aunts, uncles and cousins, one granddaughter.

Graveside service was  Friday, June 11, 2010 at 2:00PM at Maedl Family Cemetery of Nashville with Pastor Howard Jackson officiating.
