ROCKY MOUNT - Funeral services for Doris C. Phelps, 77, who died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, were Monday, June 14 at 11 a.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Gardens of Gethsemane  Cemetery with Rev. Thomas E. McCullers officiating.

Surviving: son, Dennis Treathan, Sr. of Rocky Mount; sisters, Florine Batchelor of Rocky Mount, Nancy Stokes of Nashville; brother, Thurman Cooper of Nashville.

Visitation was Sunday, June 13, from 3 - 6 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Nashville.
