Ronald W. Winstead, 85, passed away, Monday, May 3, 2010. He was born July 17, 1924 in Nash County. He was the son of the late George and Lillie Medlin Winstead.

He is survived by his wife Ruth Bunn Winstead of Raleigh,  one son, Ronald Winstead, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, one daughter, Donna King and husband Bob of Raleigh,  two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.   

Graveside service will be Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery of Nashville.
