NASHVILLE - Edward Matthew McAuley, Sr., 66, passed away Friday, April 9, 2010. He was born January 28, 1944 in Hertford County to Terry and Hattie McAuley. He was preceded in death by his mother Hattie and his sister, Linda McAuley Allsbrook of Virginia Beach, VA.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Pamela Pritchard McAuley; son Edward Matthew (Matt) McAuley Jr. and wife Carolyn of Nashville; son John Patrick McAuley and wife Betsie of Raleigh; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, April 12, 2010 from 7:00-8:30PM at Cornerstone Funeral Home of Nashville, NC. Funeral Service was Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Gurganus and Pastor Val Rodriguez officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
