NASHVILLE - Funeral services for Valarie Richardson, 48, who died Saturday, March 27, 2010, were at 1 p.m. Friday, April 2, at Pine Chapel Baptist Church. Burial followed in Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Robert Hedgepeth officiating.

Surviving: daughter, Shana Richardson of Rocky Mount; parents, Zollie and Theola Richardson of Nashville; sister Debra Johnson of Alabama; brothers, Horace Richardson of Warrenton and Timothy Richardson of Raleigh; two grandchildren.

Wake services were Thursday, April 1, from 7 - 8 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Nashville.
