CASTALIA - Elmer “Joe” Lee Boulden, Jr., 64, passed away, Saturday, March 6, 2010. He was born October 12, 1945 in Nash County. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Lee Boulden, Sr. and a daughter, Jody Boulden Frazier.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Boulden of Nashville, his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara Lucas Boulden, two daughters, Jennifer Boulden of Zebulon, Jo-Anna Skorupski and husband Scott of Nashville, three sisters, Sue Thompson and husband Ray of Nashville, Louise Boulden of Marion, Texas, Sandra Rathjen and husband Dean of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota and three grandchildren,
Visitation was Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Boulden Family Cemetery of Castalia.
