Marcine Kinkead Garrison, 80, passed away Friday, February 19, 2010. She was born February 25, 1929, in Morganton NC. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Anderson and Alice Gaither Kinkead.

Marcine is survived by her husband James R. Garrison, Sr. of the home; daughter, Angela M. Simms of Mebane; sisters, Myrl K.Warren and husband James of Hiawassee, GA, Shirly K. Fambrough of Spring Hope, Donna K. Dawson of Rocky Mount and Jackie K. Proctor and husband Robert of Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved pets.

The family received friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday, February 22, 2010 at Johnson Funerals and Cremations on English Road and at other times at the homes of James Garrison in Graham,   and Jackie Proctor in Rocky Mount. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2010 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. 520 8th Avenue 7th Floor New York, NY 10018.
