ROCKY MOUNT - Mamie Lee Garrett Battle Cooper, 91, died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010 at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount.

A visitation for Mrs. Cooper was Saturday, Feb. 20, from 4 - 6 p.m. at Mount Galilee Primitive Baptist Church. Funeral services were Sunday, Feb. 21, at 2:30 p.m. at Light of Peace Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Kenneth Lucas officiating. Interment took place immediately following the service in the Jacob Bullock Family Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids.
