William Watson “Billy” McLeod, 65, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010. He was born June 6, 1944 in Harnett County. He was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Williams McLeod.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie of the home, and son Ken McLeod of Winston-Salem; daughter, Debbie and husband Erick Blalock of Wilson;  two grandchildren: sisters, Betty Butler of Broadway, and Peggy Pruitt and husband Phillip of Drumwright, OK.

Visitation was held Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.  at Cornerstone Funeral Home A funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with Rev. Vernon Potter officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Nashville.
