Syble Renn Woodard, 86, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010. She was born January 10, 1924 in Vance County. Syble was the daughter of the late, Clarence Oliver and Fannie Powell Renn. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Woodard and a great-granddaughter, Staci Jo Morgan.

She is survived by one son, John Robert Woodard, Jr. and wife Rita of Graham, NC., three daughters, Joan Woodard Evans and husband William of Spring Hope, Kaye Woodard Beaman and husband Tony of Waynesville, NC., Pam Woodard of Knightdale, one brother, Lewis Renn and wife Helen of Swansboro, NC., five sisters, Mary Bailey of Virginia Beach, VA., Peggy Pinnell of Castalia, Jeanette Rowe of White Level, NC., Faye Shearin and husband Milton of Louisburg, Jane Pierce and husband Bill of Raleigh, 8 grandchildren;  5great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home with the Rev. John Robert Woodard Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson, NC.
